Warp Beta v0 for Mac

This build is focused on the stable dictation core: hold your shortcut, speak, and insert text into the app you already have open — with optional translation when you need it.

Core dictation

Hold ⌃⌥D, speak, and Warp types where your cursor sits. Works in every macOS text field — native, Electron, web, terminal.

App routing

Voice becomes a task in Todoist, a message in Slack, or a note in Bear. Warp classifies intent and routes to the right destination.

Translation

Speak in 30+ languages, output in another — same pass, no separate tab. Dictation + translation in a single shortcut.

Selection mode

Highlight any text, hold ⌃⌥S, and speak to rewrite, translate, or replace it. The cursor never leaves your flow.

System requirements

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
  • Working internal or external microphone
  • Internet connection for speech and AI processing
  • ~120 MB disk space

Beta considerations

  • Fast iteration — you'll see frequent updates as we ship. Dictation should stay dependable day-to-day, but rough edges may appear.
  • macOS 13+ only — Windows and iOS are not yet supported.
  • Cloud-dependent — speech-to-text and AI processing require an active internet connection.
  • 3 integrations shipping — Todoist, Slack, and Bear work today. Notion, Linear, Gmail, and more are on the public roadmap.
