What is shipped, what is next.

No fake dates. Three lanes: what works today, what we are building toward, and what is on the table. Warp is early — this is here so you can see where it is going, not where a marketing page claims it already is.

Works in the current build.

  • Hold-to-talk dictation

    Customizable global hotkey (backtick by default). Hold to speak, release to type into any app at the cursor.

  • Edge-glow UI

    A soft audio-reactive glow around your screen is the only visible surface while dictating. No orb, no floating window.

  • Selection mode

    Highlight text, hold the selection shortcut, and rewrite or translate it by voice — replaced in place.

  • Live translation

    Speak one language, write another (60+), inline in the target app. Included free.

  • Ask AI by voice

    Hold the same dictation key somewhere that is not a text field and Warp answers instead of typing — about your highlighted text if there is any, or on its own if not. The answer renders in a card above your work, Markdown and maths included, and can be read back aloud.

  • Warp Memory (meeting capture)

    Warp detects Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack and Discord calls, transcribes live with speaker names, and files a write-up when the call ends. Off until you turn it on.

  • Meeting write-up destinations

    Apple Notes, a Markdown file, email, Joplin, or a Slack channel. Transcripts stay on your Mac.

  • Meeting recall

    Questions you ask later can draw on what was said in past calls, so "what did we decide about the launch?" has an answer.

  • Transcript clean-up

    Filler words and false starts are tidied before the text lands. On by default, and switchable off.

  • Custom vocabulary

    Teach Warp the names, jargon and product words it keeps getting wrong.

  • Electron and Chromium support

    Chrome, Slack, VS Code, Notion and friends get a paste-based insertion path so text lands once, in the right field.

  • Themes

    Warp, Dusk and Cream, or match the system appearance.

  • In-app updates

    Warp installs its own new builds, gated on the Developer ID of the copy you already trust plus a notarization check.

  • Signed, notarized Mac build

    Developer ID + notarized + stapled DMG. macOS 13+ (Apple silicon + Intel).

  • App routing

    A spoken command becomes the right action in the right app — a Todoist task, a Slack message, a Bear note — without opening it.

  • Routing targets (first wave)

    Todoist, Slack, Bear, Notion. Then Linear, Gmail, Google Calendar.

  • Richer selection actions

    More built-in selection transforms beyond rewrite/translate (summarize, expand, change tone).
